Business Center Computer Upgrades

You may have noticed.  The Business Centers has SIX brand new computers with 19" wide screen monitors.  The Business Center also has a new All-in One machine that was installed even before the computers.  Management provides the ease and access of the Business Center to all of the residents to go online, check e-mails, type up documents, etc.  Uploads and downloads make the computers vulnerable to viruses, and therefore restricted, along with the use of portable storage drives for the same reason.  Thank you for understanding certain limitations placed on the computers to keep them functioning longer.

New Treadmills in Lincoln Fitness Center

The Lincoln Fitness Center has had some problems with the treadmills always going out of order.  Thank you for your patience, and the problem has been solved.  Management purchased TWO brand-new treadmills with attached TV and I-Pod docks.  This is just a sneak peak to the kind of machinery and upgrades our Fitness Center will be getting in the near future.  Get your tennis shoes and break in our new treadmills!!!

Resident Options Available via the Website

Register your e-mail address today and take advantage of Marina Terrace's website features.  Website conveniences include Service Requests submission online, view community event calendar, read the latest community news on the website newsletter, peruse through your neighbors advertisements in the Classifieds portion

Also, offering your e-mail address to Marina Terrace will give the management team a chance to send you immediate notifications via e-mail.  Stay up to date with as much current information as possible on community information, when postings on the door are not necessary.  This will improve communications from management to our residents.  You can find out when upgrades are being done, when the next resident function is, any changes in the community, information on the neighborhood, etc.

Along with helping the management team communicate more effectively with you, our valued residents, registering to Marina Terrace’s website gives you the opportunity to advertise via our Classifieds page.  This will help you reach out to all the visitors of the Marina Terrace website, and most importantly, your neighbors and fellow residents.

United Taxi Direct Line

Recently, you may have noticed a white telephone in the Lincoln Building lobby.  United Taxi has installed a direct telephone line for your convenience.  No need to remember any phone numbers or have to look up phone numbers.  If you need a cab, just pick up the phone and it will dial United Taxi directly and know your location.  Just give them your destination and they are on their way to pick you up.

Multi-Family Residential Recycling Program

Did you know that Marina Terrace is participating in a recycling program with the City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works?  Recycle bins are located in the main trash rooms.  If you would like to help the environment and participate in the recycling program, we invite you to start using the recycle bins.

More information is available in the Resident Services office, or you can go to the city's website at www.larecycles.org.  You can also e-mail the city at multifamily@lacity.org or call their Hotline at (800) 773-2489 or by dialing 3-1-1.
